One of the most popular recreational areas in the East Bay, Lake Chabot is a 315-acre lake just north of Castro Valley. First-come, first-served picnic areas with tables and barbecue pits and group reserved picnic spots are conveniently located near Lake Chabot Marina.  Anthony Chabot Regional Park, another popular destination with campsites and several more picnic areas, including group reservable spots.   The expansive lawns and surrounding gardens create a magical atmosphere for weddings, receptions and anniversary celebrations.

Additional Information

Picnic facilities (tables with barbecue pits) are located adjacent to the parking and marina area. These sites include first-come, first-served sites and 6 reservable picnic areas that accommodate 50-200 people each, depending on the site.
