Rose Garden
Golden Gate Park
With help from the San Francisco Rose Society, the Golden Gate Park Rose Garden receives tender loving care that ensures the quality, beauty and fragrance of award-winning blooms. From hybrid tea roses to striking miniatures, the pale pink, lavender, red, white, and orangey flowers of the garden create stunning surroundings for a wedding in the park. To make the most of this sight, keep in mind that a wave of beauty strikes the Rose Garden from mid-May throughout July as flowers begin to blossom. Another rush of fresh blooms comes in September.

When planning a wedding at the Rose Garden, keep in mind that no amplified sound is allowed. You might want to consider booking a live musician, such as a harpist, to play a melody for your walk down the aisle. All year-round on Sundays, the road is inaccessible by vehicles, which may pose a dilemma for making sure your guests arrive on time. Also, roads leading to the garden are closed on Saturdays from April through September.
